Akram Shah (b. 1993) is a New York & Paris–based photographer, director, and writer, born in Bangladesh and raised in New York City. His work is rooted in the tension and romance of the contemporary American psyche, shaped by an enduring fascination with Americana, folk memory, working-class life, and the poetry of everyday objects, landscapes, and people.
His work moves between documentary, editorial, and occasional fashion work.
